DAYTON, OH — Winsupply has opened a new Winsupply company in Kansas City, MO. Winsupply of Kansas City, MO will provide sheet metal supplies, and heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC) equipment to contractors throughout the region.
Michael Crane, a 30-year veteran of the HVAC industry, is president of the company. Crane and his team of five employees have more than 100 years of combined experience in sheet metal ducting and venting, and HVAC equipment to meet their customers’ needs. John Hicks is general manager and, like Crane, has more than 30 years experience in HVAC. The third member of the ownership team is Michael Snyder with 20 years of industry experience. Crane, Hicks and Snyder are equity investors in Winsupply of Kansas City to take advantage of Winsupply’s co-ownership business model.
“Mike Crane leads perhaps one of the most experienced teams we’ve ever had in launching a new company,” said Winsupply president and CEO Roland Gordon. “Mike and John Hicks established their industry expertise as factory reps prior to joining Winsupply.
Snyder produced an air filter for the HVAC industry in his prior work life. The three decided to invest in a new Winsupply location in North Kansas City that is underserved by a sheet metal distributor. They will be able to provide a one-stop solution for contractors needing both sheet metal ductwork supplies as well as air conditioning and heating equipment.
