Propane industry student scholarships & school grants available

The National Propane Gas Foundation (NPGF) offers a Scholarship Fund to provide $1,000 and $2,000 scholarships for children of National Propane Gas Association (NPGA), State association member companies and Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) employee children for colleges or vocational/technical/trade schools. The fund provides nonrenewable scholarships in the amounts of $1,000 and $2,000. The deadline for applications for the 2021/2022 academic year is Feb. 15, 2021. Additionally, PERC offers the Tech School Grant Program for up to $10,000 for schools to incorporate a provided curriculum into the school’s program and other requirements such as acquiring specific propane tools and equipment. Schools may apply for either Tier 1 (up to $5,000) or Tier 2 (up to $10,000) grants. The deadline is Dec. 31. For more info, visit https://propane.com/about-propane/tech-school-grant-program/.
