PERC to transition to new education program

The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) has announced that starting in 2025, it will phase out the Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) and replaced it with the new PERC Education Program (PEP).

According to the organization, this transition moves away from a one-size-fits-all approach to training and puts more focus on the necessary skills that are needed to safely perform specific jobs so that employees get the information they truly need.

PEP will still include all of the key information and training from CETP, but will break it down into smaller, module-based learning paths that can be customized to meet a company’s specific needs.

Currently, PERC has several sessions scheduled for PEP Recognized Instructor Learning. For information, visit propane.com.
