OESP accepting Dave Nelsen scholarship applications

Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP) has announced it is accepting applications for the Dave Nelsen Scholarship Program through March 14, 2022. The scholarship was established in 1999 to provide scholarships to students interested in pursuing careers in the energy service industry, and was recently expanded to include technicians. Thus far, more than $300,000 has been given. Each scholarship is up to $1,500.
There are several eligibility requirements, such as:

• Apply at least two weeks before the start of the class.
• Have sponsorship by a local OESP chapter.
• Worked as a technician for a minimum of one year in the field of HVAC, propane or oil.
• Work at a company with a membership in OESP.
• Present a detailed explanation of the class.
• Apply up to two times, to receive a maximum of $2,000.
