New features added to Google's Nest thermostat

Google launched its newest Nest Thermostat in late October. The thermostat uses artificial intelligence to keep homes comfortable, helps homeowners save energy and has a monitor to identify HVAC system problems by looking at anomalies. By enabling Nest’s Savings Finder, it will recommend minor changes to set temperatures or scheduling to save on energy costs. Nest’s new features are available to legacy, older devices, Google said.
Nest is available in Canada and the U.S. The original Nest thermostat launched a decade ago, Google said.
