OESPOESP, the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals (formerly NAOHSM), is offering industry professionals the chance to advance their careers through certification. They will be offering several free courses and certification exams at their annual convention and trade show in Providence, RI. OESP’s mission is education and to deliver on that mission, they offer free courses throughout the year.
At their upcoming convention and trade show, OESP is making it convenient and possible for attendees to earn NATE and NORA continuing education units (CEUs). They are also offering the NATE Oil Furnace and Hydronics test for free. If an attendee already has that specialty but wants to take a different NATE core or specialty test, it is available at a special member discount. OESP says there will also be an opportunity to achieve NORA Silver Certification at the Convention. This certification is especially important, says OESP, if the attendee or his company services oil-fired equipment. On Tuesday, May 22, Bob Hedden will hold a mini review in the morning and proctor the test in the afternoon. OESP has posted the review online as well.
Visit www.thinkoesp.org, look for the oil & energy professional tab, and click on Silver Review. To sign up for the exams, when registering for the Convention at thinkoesp.org, you will be asked to identify which specialty or core you wish to take. If there is a charge for the exam, you can pay for that during the process. Visit www.natex.org to learn more about NATE exams and preparation.
The show is scheduled for May 20-24, 2012 at the Providence Convention Center, in Providence, RI. Visit www.thinkoesp.org or call 888- 552-0900 to learn more.
