For more than three and one-half decades, calls to the Fuel Merchants Association (FMA) of New Jersey office have been answered by a friendly greeting from Diana Gann. Gann, a 36-year veteran of FMA, will conclude her service to FMA on Dec. 31, 2019.
According to FMA Executive Vice President Eric DeGesero, “Diana Gann has been an integral part of FMA’s ability to serve the needs of members in a multitude of ways over the years. However, the most important attributes of Diana’s are her cheerful demeanor when she answers the phone or her pleasant disposition welcoming visitors to the office. As the first point of contact for those reaching out to FMA, she has been a most welcoming ambassador.”

Over the years Diana has been involved in a wide variety of membership service activities including working with local county groups, coordinating Board of Trustees elections, association meetings including Golf Outing and Regional Meetings, liaison with Oil Heat of North Jersey, working with Garden State Chapter OESP, as well as her responsibilities at FMA’s Annual Convention and Trade Show (EEE) just to name a few.
“Diana’s position will not be replaced and her responsibilities will be shared among the rest of the FMA staff. An event celebrating her tenure with FMA is being planned for late winter/early spring 2020 and will be announced shortly after the New Year,” DeGesero concluded.
