FMA offering NJ Licensed HVACR Contractor CEU Class

FMA will be offering an additional HVACR CEU class online via Zoom meeting. The five-hour session will be held on Wednesday, May 6 from 8:30am – 1:30pm.
The course outline is listed below and the instructor is John F. Levey.

To participate and earn CEU credits, you must be present for the entire class and will need to “virtually checkin” at the beginning and conclusion of the program. In the event the computer being used is not equipped with a camera, participants will be able to “introduce” themselves when they enter the Zoom meeting. If you have multiple participants, they must be appropriately distanced from each other and not share computer.
FMA will send login/password information subsequent to receiving registration form.
All licensed NJ HVACR contractors are required to obtain five hours of continuing education by June 30, 2020 as a condition to renew their license. The Fuel Merchants Association of New Jersey is hosting the following approved course for all licensed NJ HVACR Contractors.
The course outline is as follows:
* Section 1 (1 hour) – Statutes and regulations – required by 13:32A-4.3
Overview of the statues and rules governing the practice of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration in the state of New Jersey.
 * Section 2 (1 hour) – NJ Uniform Construction Code – required by 13:32A-4.3
Review of Permits, Inspections, Minor Work and other aspects of the Uniform Construction Code
 
* Section 3 (3 hours) – Topics relevant to HVACR -required by 13:32A-1.2
a) Changes to the most recent version of NFPA 31
b) Effects of various levels of Biofuels on oilheat systems
Registration Fee:
FMA members: $175 first attendee, $150 additional
Non FMA members: $225 first attendee, $200 additional
