Energy North Group acquires 22 businesses in Northeast

According to a report by CSP Daily, Energy North Group has acquired 22 businesses, including Putnam Fuel Co., a Goffstown, NH-based heating oil and HVAC company. Terms of the various deals were not revealed.
Other recent purchases included 11 of family-owned VERC Enterprises convenience stores and a foodservice partnership with Massachusetts-based Sal’s Pizza, as well as the Airport Country Store & Deli gas station in Gilford, NH. Other acquisitions include 10 Tradewinds convenience, deli, gas station and car wash locations in Maine.
“We are excited to welcome employees, customers and tenants from VERC Enterprises, the Airport Country Store & Deli, Tradewinds, Putnam Fuels and Sal’s Pizza into the [Energy North Group] family,” said Jeff Black, owner and COO of Energy North Group.
