On December 10, Comfort Pro, Inc. in Reading, PA announced it would provide a free Lennox Heating system to Martina Figueroa of Reading, according to the Reading Eagle. Figueroa had been nominated and selected as part of the company’s 10th Annual Comfort Pro Cares Event.
A panel reviewed the nomination letters, conducted site evaluations and selected Figueroa as the 2020 Comfort Pro Cares recipient, according to a press release, Reading Eagle said.
Figueroa, a recent kidney transplant recipient who is experiencing complications, said her only heat source, a furnace, was non-operational. Her only income is from social security.
Calling it a Christmas miracle, Figueroa thanked the company. Her broken oil furnace will be replaced with a Lennox gas furnace with air cleaner, and programmable thermostat, this month.
