According to Patch News & Levittown Now, two Bucks County, PA restaurants are teaming up with Big Oak Fuel, Levittown, PA to identify and donate a portion of proceeds to local residents in need of heating oil.
Jay’s Steak and Hoagie restaurant in Parkland and Odd Logic Brewing Co. in Bristol are running different campaigns. Jay’s is donating 5% of sales in November to the cause and Odd Logic is donating 25 cents from each pint sold. Jay’s food truck will also be stationed outside of the brewing company Sundays-Thursdays in November.
Last year, Jay’s and its customers raised $3,000 to heat local homes with more 1,500 gallons of heating oil, as well as 7,640 pounds of food for those in need.
